Where do I start from to describe this majestical place ?
Not only did the name catch my attention when I first visited a couple of years but the serenity and beauty makes this place a jewel.
And to be honest , there are far more beautiful beach towns in Australia but this town got something special which I am finding hard to explain. It is a small, there is only one supermarket , one main road. From where I stayed, the beach was only 200 m away.

1770 is close the southern region of the great barrier reef. It takes approximately 1h30 m by boat to enjoy snorkelling on one of the great wonders of the world. Trust me, it is beautiful to swim with turtles !
